The road to success of a multicultural team
-
Carmen Ochiosu - HR Business Partner Hungary, Romania, Turkey @ Bunge
Teams are about many things – performance, people, balance, trust. All these concepts are easy to understand and seem to work by themselves, except when... they don't. I will summarize the story of the development of a team whose members have different experiences and different nationalities, with a diverse cultural background.
It is a journey that required a lot of dedication and a lot of individual and team work to reach the current level of performance - a journey of approximately two years. In Bunge, we embrace diversity and recognize and value cultural differences - at the same time, the focus is on performance, the engagement of colleagues and excellence in customer relations.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging with SAP SuccessFactors
-
Irina Tache - SAP SuccessFactors Strategic Lead for Eastern Cluster & Ukraine @SAP
The increased importance of diversity, equity and inclusion requires that organizations pay special attention to the culture and strategy dedicated to the experience of their employees. The SAP SuccessFactors solution is a key component in delivering a fair and inclusive HR strategy. SAP SuccessFactors modules harness the power of artificial intelligence to give decision makers the tools they need to identify, address and reduce unconscious bias and embed Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) as a key component of company culture and employee experience. For example, SAP SuccessFactors' recruiting module can help organizations reach a diverse pool of candidates. It enables the creation of comprehensive job descriptions and provides features to eliminate bias in the hiring process.
The SAP team of organizational psychology scientists conducts research on the evolving landscape of work, workplaces and technology. The result of these researches, together with customer feedback and our commitment to multiculturalism and accessibility for all employees help design the SAP SuccessFactors solution in this sense.
